FPI Group AB acquires Reproflex Scandinavia A/S

FPI Group AB has completed the acquisition of Reproflex Scandinavia A/S, a Danish company offering products and services within flexographic printing. The company’s CEO and key employees are reinvesting in connection with the transaction and will remain in their current roles.

Reproflex Scandinavia A/S offers a full-service value chain ranging from design and prepress to the production of printing forms. The company’s products and services are used by brand owners and printing houses in 18 counties in the production of printed packaging. Reproflex generates approximately €11m in revenue with strong profitability and is characterised by high technical expertise and close customer relationships from their sites in Denmark and Finland.

The acquisition represents a second step in FPI’s long-term ambition to build a leading cluster within the Industrial Printing business area, where Reproflex will become a sister company to SweProd Graphics AB. As the new majority owner, FPI will support the company in strategic initiatives and create the conditions for continued growth, including Nordic expansion and further development of the company’s offering.

FPI is an investment company that acts as the principal owner of small and medium-sized niche leaders in the Nordic region. The focus is on the industrial development of its subsidiaries, and FPI has an unlimited ownership horizon. FPI was founded by the families behind Mellby Gård AB, Profura AB and Santhe Dahl Invest AB. With its family- and entrepreneur-based structure, the ownership group aims to act as a catalyst for small and medium-sized companies seeking to take the next step in their development.

“We are pleased to welcome Reproflex to the FPI family. The company holds a strong market position in the Nordics and operates in segments where demand for high-quality products remains stable. Together with SweProd Graphics, Reproflex forms the foundation for our continued efforts to develop the Industrial Printing business area. We look forward to participating in the restructuring of the industry over the long term,” says Arvid Bild, Investment Director at FPI.

“With FPI as our new majority owner, we gain a long-term, industrially oriented owner who shares our vision for the business and provides the right conditions for continued expansion. By reinvesting in the company, I remain fully committed to Reproflex’s development, and together with FPI we gain both the industrial breadth and financial strength required to participate in the continued development of the Nordic printing market,” says Thomas Borge Christensen, CEO, Reproflex Scandinavia A/S.
