CITO appoint new agent in Bangladesh

CITO has confirmed it has appointed Zeeshan International Agencies Pvt. Ltd. as its new agent in Bangladesh, expanding its sales and technical support network in the region.

Based in Dhaka, Zeeshan supplies paper and paperboard to the packaging and newspaper industries and is also active in the corrugated board production sector. The company supplies consumables to the graphic industry and represents equipment manufacturers including BOBST and KOMORI. The partnership will combine Zeeshan’s local industry network with Cito’s products and technical support, with the companies aiming to expand access to Cito technologies for converters and printers across Bangladesh.

As part of the new cooperation, Bobo Chang, Tooling Performance Solutions Manager – Asia Pacific, Cito, visited Bangladesh in July to meet the Zeeshan team and customers. During the visit, Chang delivered a technical seminar entitled ‘Solving Diecutting Challenges’ to around 15 participants from five local companies, focusing on uneven cutting and reducing makeready requirements.

“We believe that Zeeshan’s strong local network, combined with Cito’s products and technical expertise, provides an excellent foundation for further growth in Bangladesh,” said Chang. “My thanks go to Shahab Uddin Khan, Chairman and Managing Director, and his team for their wonderful hospitality and valuable discussions.”

“We are looking forward to our partnership with the Zeeshan team and assure them that we will provide all the support needed to successfully market Cito products in the Bangladesh market,” added Michael Schuster, Head of Sales, Cito.
