GO-RECYCLE, the recycling scheme pioneered by Go-Pak Group, has recycled more than 16,000 tonnes of cardboard in under a year.
Developed in partnership with Go-Pak’s parent company, SCG Packaging (SCGP), the service helps businesses responsibly and efficiently recycle their old corrugated cardboard (OCC) through a fully closed-loop system, reducing management costs, strengthening sustainability performance and supporting compliance with evolving legislation.
Since launching in November 2025, more than 16,000 tonnes of cardboard have been collected and exported for recycling and reuse, demonstrating the scalability and impact of the model.

These include global fast-food supply chains serving restaurants and takeaways and award-winning catering equipment suppliers. The breadth of organisations already using the service demonstrates the significant impact Go-Recycle has achieved in such a short space of time.”
The service responds to growing demand from organisations seeking practical ways to meet sustainability targets, comply with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) requirements, and demonstrate responsible sourcing. By combining packaging supply with waste collection, Go-Recycle turns what has traditionally been a disposal challenge into a valuable resource stream. The initiative has also created five local jobs and supported additional employment opportunities across partner organisations and the wider supply chain, delivering economic as well as environmental benefits.
