Former Manroland site leased to Siemens

Langley Holdings has announced that its German property holding company has signed a long term lease agreement with a subsidiary of German industrial giant, Siemens AG.

Siemens will occupy part of the former Manroland printing machinery works in Offenbach and are expected to create several hundred new jobs at the site.

Under the terms of the lease, Siemens will occupy approximately half of the former Manroland works for manufacture of equipment in connection with data centres – a sector that is growing enormously due to demand from AI.

Anthony Langley, Chairman & CEO, Langley Holdings plc, said,  “I am very pleased that we have reached an agreement with Siemens. It means that the number of new jobs in Offenbach will likely equal, or even exceed, the ones lost due to the restructuring of Manroland. With our loss-making printing machinery business responsibly exited, the group is now able to focus on the huge opportunities that exist in AI power infrastructure.”
