Asahi Photoproducts has been awarded an EcoVadis Silver Medal for its flexographic plate manufacturing operations in Japan following the company’s first EcoVadis evaluation, completed in April 2026.
The result reflects the company’s focus on responsible manufacturing practices and its long-term ‘Leading the Way to Solvent ZERO’ strategy focused on reducing solvent use, improving resource efficiency and advancing more sustainable flexographic manufacturing technologies.
“Achieving an EcoVadis Silver Medal in our first participation is an important milestone for our organisation,” said Masaki Matsumoto, Managing Director, Asahi Photoproducts. “We see this result not as an endpoint, but as part of an ongoing journey of continuous improvement.”
