Creation Reprographics has confirmed it has purchased a new flexo plate imager system to meet rising market demand for quality pre-press services.
The combined flexo plate imager and exposure unit has arrived at Creation’s Northampton base, representing a significant investment in platemaking technology. The new line is capable of handling flexo plates up to 42”x 60”, consolidates imaging and exposure processes into a single automated workflow, delivering up to 50% reduction in manual steps and 73% reduction in operator time. This, combined with the solvent-free processing, delivers extremely rapid speed to market.
The new system reinforces Creation’s commitment to sustainable pre-press operations. By supporting solvent-free plate processing workflows, the new system eliminates VOC emissions from the platemaking process, helping Creation’s printing customers strengthen their environmental credentials whilst maintaining exceptional print quality.
