Dominique Lagarde has been elected as the new president of Carton Ondulé de France.
He succeeds Philippe Durand, whose commitment and vision has been saluted. Under his presidency, the sector has strengthened its institutional visibility and brought the voice of corrugated cardboard to major regulatory debates.
Lagarde has more than 35 years of experience in the corrugated industry, including the Smurfit Westrock Group. After several industrial and operational management positions, he held positions as general manager and director of the cardboard division. Most recently, he was Head of Industrial Operations France at Smurfit Westrock.
“His career, marked by a strong industrial, managerial and strategic expertise, will be a valuable asset in supporting the transformations of our sector,” said the Association in a statement. “With this new presidency, Carton Ondulé de France will pursue its priorities: to defend a stable and legible regulatory framework, to promote the environmental performance of corrugated cardboard and to carry the voice of a high-performance, innovative industry rooted in the territories.”
