New appointments at Tana Oy

Tana Oy has announced the appointment of Gerd Schreier as Vice President, Sales, Marketing & Channel Management, effective May 1, 2026.

Schreier (pictured) brings extensive international experience in heavy equipment sales leadership, aftersales, and general management. Throughout his career, he has built and led high-performing global sales teams across both direct and dealer channels. He’s known for driving business transformation, accelerating growth, and delivering strong results in competitive markets. In his new role, Schreier will lead Tana’s sales, marketing, and channel management functions. His focus will be on strengthening Tana’s market position, expanding its global reach, and supporting both customers and distributors. A key priority will be ensuring clear customer value delivery and strong alignment across regions and channels to drive consistent, sustainable growth.

Olli Heinonen has been appointed as Vice President, Product Marketing & Portfolio Strategy, effective on May 1, 2026. With a strong background in global sales and the heavy machinery business, Heinonen brings broad experience working with international customers and partners. Over the past four years, he has led and developed Tana’s distributor network, strengthening collaboration across markets and supporting the company’s global presence in more than 50 countries. In his new role, Heinonen will take a leading role in developing Tana Oy’s product and solutions strategy and portfolio, strengthening product marketing and application coverage, and supporting business development initiatives across the organisation.
