J de Haro Artes Gráficas, a family-run printing company based in Seville, has reinforced its position in both commercial print and packaging with the installation of a new Komori press.
Led by Joaquín Haro, General Manager, J de Haro has successfully combined two distinct but complementary worlds from its origins: commercial printing and packaging. While the company initially focused on books, brochures, and catalogues, it has expanded strongly into packaging over the past fifteen years. Today, its portfolio includes folding carton, cardboard, cartonboard, and microflute applications.
This balanced approach has been supported by continuous investment in technology. When J de Haro decided to acquire a new, more advanced press, several options were considered. The final decision to choose Komori was driven not only by performance, but also by long-standing trust and a strong personal relationship. “The personal approach made the difference,” explains Joaquín Haro.
Having previous experience with Komori presses, the team quickly recognised the benefits of the new machine. Operators appreciate its ease of use, faster makeready, and smooth job execution, which contribute to greater efficiency and flexibility in daily production.
The press also opens up new creative possibilities. The use of H-UV inks enables instant drying, streamlined handling, and high-quality finishes. Combined with advanced coating options such as gloss, matte, and drip-off varnishes, J de Haro can now deliver products with greater visual impact and a wider range of applications.
With this investment, J de Haro is ready to enter new markets, broaden its offering, and continue delivering high-quality print and packaging solutions — all while staying true to its family values and customer-focused approach.
