Solenis opens new Global Research Center in Delaware

Solenis has opened a new Global Research Center near its headquarters in Wilmington, Delaware.

Located in the Chestnut Run Innovation and Science Park, the 100,000 sq ft facility features advanced laboratories, collaborative workspaces, and pilot-scale testing capabilities to accelerate product development and customer support for sustainability-focused products and technologies.

It will serve as the flagship hub in Solenis’ global R&D network of more than 500 scientists, engineers, and technical experts, including over 160 in Wilmington focused on water treatment and pulp and paper manufacturing.

The new centre adds 20,000 more sq ft of laboratory space than Solenis’ previous R&D location in Wilmington. Designed for collaboration and innovation, the flexible laboratories encourage cross-functional teamwork, while open environments foster cooperation. These efforts support the company’s expanding pipeline of research initiatives that deliver novel and sustainable solutions for customers.
