Xampla has confirmed that the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) has officially recognised that Morro Coating is plastic-free.
In a major step forward for sustainable packaging, NPL developed a pioneering test to prove that materials, such as our Morro Coating, are plastic-free and SUPD-Exempt. Not only does this achievement give customers full confidence that materials serve tightening regulations and increasing consumer demand, but it also creates a blueprint to support the validation of other innovations with this pioneering new test.
By using advanced spectroscopy and high-resolution microscopy to compare the chemical and physical signatures of materials before and after processing, this new test is a true game-changer for the industry.
