Geo. M. Martin Company has announced a strategic leadership transition that marks an important step in the company’s evolution as it approaches its 100th anniversary.
George R. Martin, who has served as President/Chief Executive Officer, will continue his role as CEO. In this capacity, Martin will maintain his focus on guiding the company’s long-term vision, driving strategic growth initiatives, strengthening industry leadership, and ensuring Geo. M. Martin remains at the forefront of innovation in the corrugated industry.
Stepping into the role of President is Laila Jaffer, formerly Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Jaffer, who has been with Geo. M. Martin Company since 2013, has played a pivotal role in advancing operational excellence, fostering customer satisfaction, and driving continued financial growth.
Charles Rizzuti, Senior Executive Vice President of Engineering, is promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Rizzuti, who has been with the company for over three decades, has been an integral force in advancing the company’s engineering and technology initiatives, spearheading the development of innovative automation solutions, and enhancing the performance and reliability of Geo. M. Martin’s product lines.
