TRICOR Packaging & Logistics AG recently commissioned a new Weducon Corrucleaner® HE-90 — an integrated web cleaning system installed on their state-of-the-art BHS Corrugated line in Goch, Germany.
“This corrugator is designed for high-volume production of heavy-duty corrugated board, operating at 450 m/min with a web width of 2.8m,” says Hermanus Bakker, Managing Director, Weducon. “The Corrucleaner® HE-90 is seamlessly integrated between the slitter/scorer and the no-crush wheels, where it removes particles and dust right at the source.”
He continues, “The benefits include improved print quality, reduced wear on equipment, fewer clean-up stops and a safer working environment — with 20% less energy use and up to 10 dB less noise compared to conventional extraction systems. All functions are fully automated and integrated into the BHS Corrugated dry-end PLC: start/stop, order changes and emergency circuits — no manual intervention required.”
