Lamina System has installed a Blackline laminator at Wilmot-Budgen Ltd based in Coulsdon, London. Wilmot-Budgen is a family business which is well known for its high quality and innovative display solutions in the cosmetics POS industry.

The 14.16 Blackline has high-capacity feeders with pressure belt, flip-flop unit and down-stacker. Main substrates that will be run are corrugated sheets and solid grey boards. This line was installed over a weekend to minimise disruption and replaces their 10 year old Lamina laminator, showing continued confidence in Lamina System and their team.
The machine was sold by Lamina’s UK & Irish Sales Agent Neil Thayer of Finishline Machinery. “Despite many years of talk about how digital print direct to substrate has replaced the litho-lam process, many companies with these printers still run their existing laminators and invest in new models,” said Thayer.
