Nick Thompson, Director of Bristol, UK-based S H Fiske Ltd, has confirmed the company recently took delivery of a Solarco Boxmatic Manual 23DCFM-D. Installed and commissioned in late October, the machine was sold by Solarco’s UK and Ireland agent, GTS (Europe) Ltd.
The machine, which is equipped with a flexo print unit and double die-cut section, is ideal for a wide range of short run corrugated box styles, including trays, partitions and cut-outs such as hand holes. It is also able to crease and score corrugated board both crosswise and lengthways.
“We were impressed with the rugged build quality of the machine, as well as the ease of set-up and high levels of output it can achieve,” said Thompson. “It is an excellent machine and our operators have got to grips with it quickly, thanks to the extensive training offered by Solarco and GTS. A great installation all round.”
