Rengo has confirmed that it has acquired 80% of shares of Nishihara-Shigyo Co., Ltd, based in Kanagawa. Nishihara-Shigyo is a box maker that operates in the southern Kanto region of Japan.
Going forward, Rengo will strengthen the company’s competitiveness by providing support in aspects such as manufacturing and sales and at the same time, pursue further expansion of the Rengo Group’s corrugated packaging business in the Kanto region through collaboration with Group companies and nearby plants directly managed by Rengo.
