Recycle Direct Celebrates

Based in the Neath Valleys, South Wales, Recycle Direct has been in business for 20 years, with over 30 years’ worth of experience in Baler manufacture and reactive maintenance. In that time, Recycle Direct has grown from a small team of two, to a team of fifteen, comprising of field service engineers and office based staff.

The business covers the whole of the UK, providing preventative and reactive maintenance, on balers, conveyors, shredders, hoggers, eddy current separators and reel splitters; if the machine processes waste, Recycle Direct have probably worked on it.

To date, Recycle Direct have dealt with over seven hundred customers within the UK and also overseas. The company has carried out over two thousand service inspections, supplied over fifty balers, as well as the supply of other machinery.

Due to ever increasing demand to create a more circular economy, processors, manufacturers and waste management industries have had to move with the times. Recycle Direct have embraced this change and adapted to the ever shifting environment of recycling. Back in 2011, the company won the ‘Made in Wales’ creative award for its ‘Modular Baler’.

“We’ve gone from strength to strength over the past twenty years, seen the operation go from just the two of us to, to a small workshop in Bridgend, to a larger unit in the estate and now a new larger premise in the Neath Valleys,” said Nigel Davies, Managing Director. “I’m proud of what we’ve achieved over the past twenty years, I’m excited for what the next couple of years hold in store for Recycle Direct. Moving to the new site and with an imminent release of our website, this is the perfect opportunity to renew our focus for the years ahead.”
