NKBK order 175QS Ultima

Esa Koski, Executive Vice President at Emba Machinery AB, has confirmed an agreement with NKBK for an 175 QS Ultima. The contract was signed in December and the machine will be installed at NKBK´s plant in Naberezhnye Chelny.

NKBK is one of the largest enterprises in the Russian pulp and paper industry. Currently, it has the largest corrugated plant in Russia with an annual production of 400 million sqm of corrugated packaging, which is approximately 7% of the Russian market.

“NKBK investigated different options and after discussions, they chose to invest in an Emba machine based on the results of higher performance numbers, internal die cutting abilities, greater flexibility and value for money,” explains Koski.

“We are glad to start working with NKBK as they are one of Russia’s leading companies,” concludes Koski. “Chelny mill is a recognised leader in terms of innovation and implementation of new technologies, directing 60% of its net profit to investment in the new equipment. With the order from Chelny, we have now entered into partnership with most of the major corrugated board converters in Russia with our Ultima FFG machines. We are pleased with the broad recognition giving us a strong position to further enhance our market presence.”
