US-based Norpac (North Pacific Paper Company) is converting one if its paper machines in Longview, Washington, to produce packaging grades from 100 percent recycled waste paper. They plan to recover about 440,000 tons of post-consumer waste paper annually, recycling it into linerboard, corrugated medium, bag grades and specialty Kraft papers.
