Steinmüller Customized Solutions GmbH has confirmed the recent start up of the latest fully automatic 1224 flexo printer slotter at LIS in Luebeck, Germany. LIS is family owned company, employing 60 people and working in two shifts, six days a week.
According to LIS Production Manager Mr Kneiske, the biggest challenge was in not interrupting production. Their old slotter got dismantled and the new equipment was installed over one weekend.
Kneiske explains, “Now we have three precise print units with vacuum transfer and chambers, an automatic slotter and a strong die-cutter, running reliably on both shifts. The FPS is easy to handle and order changes can be done very quickly.”
The new XH-1224 is the result of combining modern design with reliable European components. Available in working widths from 1800 to 5500mm, the machine is connected via internet to the 24-hour hotline of producer Xiamen Fuyin Machinery Co Ltd.
