Part of the Lamiflex Group, Nyköping, Sweden-based Interwell AB develops and supplies complete packaging solutions in many different types of materials to the manufacturing industry. Most recently, the company installed a Gluer 2.2 2OP with two glue guns and one tape applicator. The machine was supplied by Lamina System of Boras, Sweden in early November.
“With a strong demand for intricate and bespoke packaging solutions, a lot of our production was done by hand,” explains Bo Johansson, Production Manager at Interwell AB. “This is not particularly ergonomic, so we visited Lamina System to look at what they might be able to supply to help us automate our production. Following the visit, we ordered a semi-automatic gluer to improve efficiency in production and provide better ergonomics in the work environment for our operators.”
