Digital cutter and 3D software set to boost turnover significantly
Creative fibreboard engineering and print specialist, Anytech Limited, has installed a DYSS X5-1310T digital cutter at its Swindon, England premises. The X5 machine, supplied by AG/CAD Ltd, is working in-line with Anytech’s Xerox and Roland digital print devices to offer economic die-less short-run printed packaging and displays without the lengthy lead-times, set-up and costs associated with conventional print and die-cutting. With innovative bespoke design a key part of its services, the company is also using the DYSS X5 to prototype new creations for its customers and to add to its own product portfolio.
AG/CAD’s KASEMAKE CAD software was also installed as part of the same investment, allowing Anytech to produce imaginative structural designs rapidly and efficiently. In addition, the company has found KASEMAKE’s 3D visualisation features invaluable when pitching to new customers and servicing existing customers. In a matter of moments, the software is able to render a pack or display as an interactive 3D mock-up that can then be emailed for approval or proofing purposes.
Chin Williams, Anytech’s owner, expects this crucial new investment in equipment and software to increase company profits substantially, with the aim to at least double turnover within the next 12 months.
