DS Smith has received an A minus score for climate change, sustainable forestry and water security from the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP).
Each year, the CDP takes the information supplied in its annual reporting process and scores companies and cities based on their journey through disclosure and towards environmental leadership and grades businesses from ‘A’ to ‘F’.
DS Smith has submitted its data since 2010, scaling its performance up five levels in the process by achieving an A minus in the latest round. The 2020 score positions DS Smith at leadership level, recognising its implementation of ‘best in class’ practices in leading the fight against climate change, water scarcity and deforestation.
