DS Smith Plc have confirmed the appointment of David Robbie to the Company’s Board as a Non-Executive Director with effect from 11 April. Furthermore, it confirmed that Jonathan Nicolls will retire from the Board with effect from the conclusion of the AGM on 3 September 2019.
In addition to joining DS Smith’s Board, Robbie will also join the Audit Committee, the Nomination Committee and the Remuneration Committee of the Board and will become Chairman of the Audit Committee upon Nicholls’ retirement. At that time Rupert Soames, who was appointed to the Company’s Board in March 2019, will become Senior Independent Director.
