Another EVOL 100 for NKBK

Giovanni Bettini, Sales Director of MHI Europe, has confirmed that the company recently signed a contract with NKBK for the supply of a four colour EVOL 100 flexo folder gluer. The contract was signed on 20 March and this will be the second EVOL 100 to be run by NKBK.

The new high speed casemaker is expected to be installed towards the end of 2020 and it will be equipped with Mitsubishi’s brand new MPF-M pre-feeder. Interestingly, NKBK were one of the first companies outside of Japan to run the MPF-M pre-feeder on an EVOL.

The corrugated producer installed its first EVOL a little over a year ago; they have been so impressed by the performance, they had no hesitation in ordering the second line. “Having now run the first EVOL for one year, we have seen excellent results — in fact, this one line has effectively replaced two older casemakers,” confirms Andrey Fomichev, General Director, NKBK. “The results are extremely good, it is a very good machine. Our people rate the machine very highly and they already looking forward to the second machine coming to our plant next year.”

The first EVOL for NKBK was installed a little over a year ago.

“We are delighted to reinforce our relationship with NKBK with the sale of a second EVOL to them,” says Giovanni Bettini. “The Russian market has really grasped the opportunities that the EVOL offers in terms of speed, accuracy and productivity. This is the fifth order already for an EVOL in Russia and we hope for many more over the coming years. Another EVOL 100 just started up in the JSC Arkhbum plant in Voronezh.”
