Alberto Brivio, owner of Vimercate, Italy-based BP Agnati srl, has confirmed the appointment of GTS (Europe) Ltd as the official sales and service representative for the UK and Ireland. With immediate effect, the range of corrugators — including the Quantum — will be handled by GTS (Europe) Ltd.
“We have many corrugator units in operation at plants throughout the UK and Ireland and it is important that we have a strong agent in the market,” says Brivio. “Until recently, we had been working with Sigma Squared Solutions, but following the retirement of John Jinks, we had to recruit a new agent. With a team of highly qualified corrugator experts including Gavin Williams and Paul Hill, we had no hesitation in looking to work with GTS. The fact they are in board plants around the territory, supplying corrugator rolls and belts means they are fully aware of the live projects that we can work on. The latest installation of the Quantum at Rigid Wellington is proof positive that the Agnati solution is a viable and attractive proposition for board plants in the UK once more.”
