Odessa Print Group have installed a Young Shin Giant 250Sll, purchased via Young Shin Europe in Manchester. This is one of the largest semi automatic die-cutters produced, with a maximum sheet size of 1700mm x 2500mm. It also has a stripping section and grip edge removal, so 100% stripping can be achieved.
Young Shin were able to delver the machine in just six weeks thanks to the opening of a third production site in Daegu, South Korea, which has significantly reduced lead times for standard machines. The addition of die-cutting to Odessa’s services now means that POS displays can be fully produced in house, as they already have a wide range of large format digital and litho presses, as well as gluing and assembly.
