Good results for BCS

British Converting Solutions (BCS) reports that its first time at FESPA proved fruitful. Exhibiting in the Digital Corrugated Experience hall, the company said that most visitors were in need for on-demand boxes to efficiently pack and protect wide-format print for despatch.

“People spend a lot of money on digital presses. It’s really important that when the print job is sent to the final customer it gets there in pristine condition,” said Barry Tabor, Managing Director of BCS. “Printers don’t know from campaign to campaign what size the promotional materials will be and they had to stock so many box sizes in the past which resulted in wasted inventory. With our systems, they can make a box that is the exact size required and that protects the contents. It gives them total control.”

The Boxer, which was on display at FESPA, is due to be shipped to a Los Angeles-based display printer — AdArt. Two walk-up customers — a Middle Eastern PoP printer and a South American paper merchant — have ordered machines at the show.
